A meaty “mazel tov!” to my younger brother Alan who finally plucked up some courage and proposed marriage last week to his long-suffering girlfriend Keri.

He did the full shebang: down on one knee; a posh diamond ring; a declaration of love; all in the presence of oodles of tourists on the balcony of Sleeping Beauty’s castle in Disneyland Paris.

I happy to say Keri his girlfriend is now Keri his fiancée, soon to be Keri his wife.

I took this photo of them both on the big day. I think it shows just how well suited they are.
